Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file a variety of immigration petitions and applications, including but not limited to: family-based petitions, adjustment of status, naturalization, asylum, consular processing, waivers, and employment-based cases.
• Draft supporting letters and compile evidence in support of applications.
• Monitor case progress and maintain regular communication with clients.
• Maintain case files and ensure accurate and timely data entry in case management systems.
• Assist attorneys with research, hearing preparation, and follow-up with government agencies such as USCIS, NVC, and EOIR.
• Track deadlines and maintain compliance with filing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or experience required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in immigration law.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, forms, and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred but not required.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze criminal investigations and evidence with a critical eye
• Research statutes, case law, and procedural issues to strengthen defenses
• Collaborate with trial attorneys to build case strategy
• Draft motions, briefs, and internal case assessments
• Serve as a resource for investigative insight without handling courtroom litigation

What We’re Looking For:

• J.D. and active law license in good standing
• Strong background in criminal law and investigations
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented, strategic thinker who enjoys problem-solving
